Our culture has changed, and it’s had an effect on many godly men and women. Pastors have a greater task: Engaging Singles. Truly, it is my belief, if the Church At Large had not shied away from teaching, on Sex and Relationship - Many would not have fallen away from church membership.
Man! did I use to get a kick - conversations discussed among godly men and women who were not afraid to speak on their faith and freakiness. LOL! I can still hear a question thrown to the Single's Panel: The woman asked: Is it a sin to hold a man's hand as a single woman? My response: Do holding his hand excite you? If so, don't you hold his hand.
Then, there are scores of folks (I'm a witness) who got so close to the edge of burning passion; they decide to marry, to avoid burning up. Lots of these marriages died off from smoke exhaustion.
Modern Culture still got the same old challenges for godly men and women; those who are very God-conscious. How do I enjoy companionship? They want to know dating, we know, is for the purposes of collecting data. It's once, the data is collected, analyzed and determined it's A GO that's the problem!
So, back to, How? With wisdom and a made up mind. So, a man you once simply adorned - gets back in touch with you. Over a few conversations- he says: "Meet me in Vegas- I'll cover the expenses." You're Grown, Save and Sexy- so, you ask, for clarity sake- that's my own room you are covering? -- ALL of sudden - his schedule comes into play- he won't be able to make the trip... You, yourself: used wisdom and having that made up mind, well- It Didn't Matter; because, You Didn't Mind....
Can you be trusted? Start by trying the spirits by the Spirit; sometimes the wolf in sheep's clothing is just your type.... (1 John 4:1)
