Be Aware, Whose Your Travel Companion.

Ready or Not - We (my gal-pal & I) were headed to the Kool Jazz Fest. That year, it was held in Atlanta; both doings were our first time going to.
I knew what to expect of the music, but not that of the city. The week before going - standing at the bus stop en route to work. There waiting for the bus was a darling little lady. We pleasantly greeted one another and she stared at me on and off for a few minutes.
Finally, she asked -"You are going on vacation, is that right?" Yes ma'am I replied. She went on to say, "she who you are going with, will not like that it's you the men will be interested in. It will not be a good trip"
I didn't respond, based on the bus driving up. As she took her seat; I walked past her, saying goodbye and thanks. Madame; wherever you are, the trip was as you had said. The men did and the trip was not.
Whether traveling out of town or traveling through life's journey - They who travel with you is key. Aloneness, I rather have, over those, who are with you physically, but not in hope.
The funny thing about my friend, she had witnessed my plight many times. Plus, it was discussed in our talks, that in fact, it was she-the one usually, hit-on. Yet, instead of rooting for me, it infuriated her. A lesson I have endeared my lifetime. The Bible time prophet asked the question: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3
That question is to be applied to all types of relationships.
