Sink or Swim...

No one wants a repeat of 2020; and yet, none of us knows, what 2021 holds, better or worse; what the year has taught us, one must learn how to adapt, when things are not favorable or different than usual.
The year resulted in many relationships, a new case of singleness - spouses died, folks divorced and others, well, learned just how strong the bond was and is. Whatever the case, it will take some doing --adjusting. I can recall when I made the unfortunate decision to leave a marriage that was not working. Back then, I never stopped to think that the person leaving could feel a sense of loss. (They can) - It always seemed to have been, the person who was left had to deal with such emotions. (Not true.)
Never have I, subscribed to the old ugly adage, "Misery loves company." I'm saddened by anyone, who enters the realm of singleness against their will. It is not about you getting in this boat with me; but, do know, here, at The Swan That Swam Solo the aim better yet, is to share with anyone who desire to disembark from the boat of misery, that, they, too can learn to swim in a sea of wellness to a journey of wholeness of mind and emotion.
